As with just about all airlines operating in Europe, there is a price to pay for everything. We have already included in the fare, one small cabin bag (10kgs) plus one small under-seat bag. If you want more than this, we can increase it to 20kgs for £80 return, per bag. We feel that for a few days, 10kgs is probably more than enough, especially since you also have a smaller bag each.

If you wish to have a confirmed, allocated seat, ensuring that you sit with your friends or family, then there is a charge of £15 per journey for standard seats or £35 per journey for extra-legroom seats. We  need to know at the time of booking if you want any of these extras but we can only apply for them mid September and cannot guarantee them. If we are unable to facilitate your request, we will refund any supplement you may have paid, in full.

VIENNA

One of the very best cities in Europe, Vienna vies with Paris, London and Budapest in the “must see” stakes”. No matter what time of year you visit, Vienna has a host of things to offer; from the stunning palaces of Bellevue and Schönbrunn to the Spanish Riding School at the Hofburg, from sampling delicious “Sachertorte” at the Hotel Sacher to visiting the opera or theatre, from fascinating museums such as the Schatzkammer to glorious shopping at the Christmas Markets.

Visit Schönbrunn Palace or Bellevue Palace

One of the most spectacular palaces in Vienna and also host to a beautiful Christmas Market. We will travel by underground (approx 30 minutes) and your visit will include an audio self-guided tour.

Enjoy a guided tour of the State Opera House

Tickets for this will not go on sale until about six weeks before our arrival. Tours do not happen every day but we should have advance notice, if you'd like to join us. Tickets are £15 each.

Enjoy a concert at the Opera House or Musikverein

If you are keen to attend a concert of any description, we are pleased to give you an idea of what is on. All tickets subject to availability and you will need to book them yourself. We can book them for you but will charge a fee of £10 per booking.

Mooons Hotel, Vienna

Situated just 2km and only three metro stops from St. Stephens Cathedral, this very new and modern hotel is well located and offers exceptionally high standards. We have visited the hotel four times already and found it to be excellent, good value for money, close to local transport and just across the road from the main station. An extensive buffet breakfast will be taken at the hotel daily from 07.30 to 10.00am.

Tips and Gratuities

Acetours will cover the tips for evening meals included in the package. Otherwise a tip of approximately 10% is customary. If you wish to tip your room attendant, we suggest €2-€3 per person, per day, ie; €10 per person for the stay.
