Prepare yourself for a journey you will never forget! Egypt and its ancient monuments seem to hold a compelling attraction for so many people. Those who have been before rave about it and, once you’ve been too, you’ll know why. We hope we have created a dream itinerary, combining the ancient wonders with some relaxing time in splendid hotels and on the cruise ship. You’ll also get to visit the brand new and stunning Egyptian Museum in Cairo. (We had a preview at the World Travel Market in November 2025 and we were amazed).

We have now opted for direct flights from Belfast or Manchester and 14 nights instead of 11, as the cost is only very slightly more. Flight times are excellent and direct from Belfast or Manchester. We warn you, excursions from the ship sometimes start before dawn, to avoid the heat of the day and to give you the maximum enjoyment. You can catch up with a few zzzz’s on the sundeck in the afternoon!

We have opted for a deluxe version of this tour, as our experience of cheaper hotels and cruises on the Nile are not “brilliant”. Furthermore, we are currently holding accommodation at the hotels mentioned but, we are trying to negotiate rates at similar or better hotels. The prices will definitely not increase.

Special Note for Single Travellers.

The single supplement is very high, mainly as the extra for the cruise alone is £600. If you are travelling with a friend and would consider sharing a cabin, we can reduce your fare by £600. You’ll still have a single room in all of the hotels.

All of the excursions from the cruise ship are led by experienced and qualified Egyptologists, so you can rest assurred you will be well educated!

                           This is a fascinating 4-hour trip                                        across the desert, with comfort stop.

16 Jan 2027 – 20 Jan 2027

Cruise the Nile aboard Super Deluxe ship.

Fares and Supplements

Based on sharing twin or double - £3595   -   Based on Single room - £4560

Singles can save £600 if they share a cabin on the ship but have single rooms elsewhere.

Upgrade to Seaview Suite in Hurghada (600 sq ft) - £150pp sharing, £240 single (Early booking)

Extra legroom on flights from/to Belfast/Manchester - £15pp each way – very limited availability.

Abu Simbel Excursion - At this stage, we do not have the exact details but the excursion should cost around £60 by minibus. It is a ten-hour tour.

There is an option to take a 45 minute flight each way and the total excursion fare will be around £380 - £400. We will advise when we have an update.
