For many, a visit to the Oktoberfest is a “once-in-a-lifetime” goal. For most sane people, it’s just mad! At Acetours, however, we are pleased to offer trips in response to our customers requests..so, here we go.
Our short tour will include an early-morning flight from Dublin to Munich, from where we shall go straight to the hotel and leave our bags. From there, the plan is to head off straight to the Bierfest, where we can enjoy some of the entertainment, before taking our reserved seats in one of the tents. You are free to drink as little or as much as you like, whilst joining in the fun. The Oktoberfest also attracts families with children..it’s not all about drinking beer!
Our hotel is very centrally situated and you could walk back to it in about 30 minutes, or you can reduce that to 15 minutes by taking a tram. So, you can leave the Bierfest when it suits you and make your own way back, or if you might need guidance, then there will be an organised group departure mid-evening.
The next day is free for you to enjoy Munich at your leisure. Return to the Bierfest if you wish; take a walking tour of Munich with your host and guide, Alan; try out a museum or test the waters at the famous public baths; tour the Residenz Palace and have a bite of lunch in the gardens. There’s a host of things to do and seeand you’ve all day to do it. We’ll meet again to depart for the airport and our return flight to Dublin, departing at around 9.00pm.
Did I say, 1 or 2 nights? Yes, if you’d like to make the most of your visit, then we can add an extra night for £75 p.p. (£150 single, we’re afraid)
